Key Features
Tailored mixes
The Mackie HM-400 offers four independent input channels and a total of 12 headphone outputs, making it the perfect addition for any professional musician or recording engineer wishing to expand their current set-up.
Whether you're on stage or in the studio, solid headphone mixes are a necessity for inspiring musicians to achieve powerful performances. The flexibility and versatility of the Mackie HM-400 ensure that the performer has total control over their sound. Users will be able to apply an extremely musical two-band EQ to their headphone mix, giving them the ability to cut or boost bass and treble frequencies to taste.
Each channel can be set to one of two modes: stereo or two-channel. The stereo setting ensures that the width and depth of the mix are maintained across all headphones, whilst the two-channel option sums the signal to dual mono, allowing you to check phase coherency and ensuring consistent sound across all headphone types.
High fidelity playback
High-quality analogue circuitry promises detailed playback, designed to provide the listener with sparkling highs and warm lows, alongside clear 7-level LED meters, allowing you to monitor audio accurately, eliminating the possibility of clipping and distortion.
Built to last
Mackie takes pride in the build quality of their equipment, providing Built-Like-A-Tank™ construction and the HM-400 is no exception. The amplifier features a robust, solid steel chassis, designed to cope with the day to day hardships of the working professional. The construction philosophy is also reflected in the use of long wear potentiometers and switches, providing you with years of trouble-free use and high-quality performance.
The HM-400's 19" 1U rack-mountable chassis enables the amplifier to be mounted in both studio and location rigs, making it the ideal choice for live shows, sessions, podcasts as well as studio recordings.
